Job Summary

The Paramedic positionprovides quality patient care in the out-of-hospital setting, including assessment of illness and / or injury, administering emergency care, and transportation services. Responds within the scope of training under operational guidelines and physician medical control.

Compensation

We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $29.70-$41.93. These ranges reflect the base salary for this position.

Key Accountabilities

Patient Care

• Responds promptly to requests for service.
• Assesses the needs of the sick or injured patient.
• Provides medical care within the paramedic scope of practice per the most current version of the Patient Care Guidelines.
• Works as an integral member of the prehospital care team, which includes dispatchers, bystanders, first responders, other EMS providers, and patient family members.
• Appropriately communicates patient information to receiving facilities and other members of the care team.
