PICU Nurse Practitioner

Schedule Requirements :

Preferred availability : At least 4 6 shifts per 4-week block

Shift types :

10-hour evenings : 1 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM

12-hour days : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM

12-hour nights : 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM

Coverage model : 24 / 7 / 365

Includes days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Weekend, night, and holiday work is shared equally among all team members

Clinical Expectations

Specialty procedures required :

Arterial line placement

Central venous line placement

Chest tube placement

Endotracheal intubation

Lumbar puncture

PICC placement

In-house night call :

Shared among team members who have completed orientation

Patient volume :

PICU : 4 6 patients per day

Night call covers all assigned patients and any new admissions

Additional Information

EMR : Epic

Certifications Required : BLS, PALS, NPR

Licensure : Open to reviewing all licensure candidates

Will consider 26-week assignments on a case-by-case basis
