Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following :

You are being submitted to a position in an area commonly impacted by hurricanes.

The hurricane season will run from June 1 to November 30, but storms have been known to occur outside of this window.

Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an emergency team.

There will be an expectation to remain at the facility until after the storm passes or to be part of the relief team.

Specific details regarding pay will be relayed for each storm, as impacts may vary.

By signing your travel contract for this position, you accept the above conditions.

You should not apply if you are not comfortable with these expectations.

Standard procedure hours are 08 : 00 to 16 : 30, but earlier or later procedures may require flexibility.

Call is divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend.

All hours must be covered, including after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Weekend coverage includes being on call from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning.

On call includes the expectation of arriving within 30 minutes of being notified.

Floating between departments is required, as the Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab work closely together.

If not needed in Interventional Radiology, you may be asked to assist in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The unit will not accept first-time travelers.

Nurses must have 2 years of experience in the specialty.

Candidate must possess the required certifications and skills relevant to the role.

References are required for clearance to start the contract.

Candidates must comply with travel regulations.
