About the role :

The mission of the Front Desk Receptionist is to facilitate the fluid movement of guests, vendors, and products in and out of the Nectar warehouse. In addition to facilitating overall traffic, the Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for answering calls, facilitating package and pallet deliveries, and assisting guests and visitors who enter the warehouse.

Reports to : Senior Purchasing Manager.

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8am-1pm.

Potential to work afternoons depending on workflow which could be required without notice.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure prompt check in / out procedures for all visitors and vendors.
  • Maintain visitor log and visitor Labels, badges, and stickers.
  • Help direct vendors (flower or packaged goods) to their designated intake spot.
  • Notify proper teams upon arrival of deliveries; either packaged goods, flower, or pallet deliveries.
  • Confirm accurate pricing on invoices, ensuring all pertinent discounts have been applied by the vendor.
  • Collect invoices / cover sheets from scheduled vendors and transfer to Purchasing Specialist and Senior Purchasing Manager.
  • Audit vendor invoices for accuracy.
  • Forward invoices and cover sheets to the Accounting team on Fridays.
  • Keep lobby and front desk clean and tidy.
  • Stock water station.
  • Answer phone and direct messages / emails.
  • Direct delivered packages to employees.
  • Check the mail every day and send to appropriate teams on Fridays.

Requirements : OLCC Cannabis Handlers Permit.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic skills for the following are strongly preferred :
  • Excel.

  • Word.
  • SharePoint.
  • Google Drive.
  • Document format conversion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.
  • High energy and sociability.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Self-starter.
  • Adaptable and agile to the ever-changing needs of a high growth cannabis company.
  • Timely and punctual.
  • Professional.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Team oriented.
  • Compensation : $18.00-$22.00 / hour, Part-Time.
