Job Summary The Graham Center is currently seeking a Temporary Audio-Visual Assistant to join their team of professionals.

Duties include :

Setup equipment to comply with all safety regulations.

Set up and tear down audio visual and event production equipment in event spaces.

Greet sponsors with a friendly and courteous attitude and monitor events.

Monitor and check TV monitors and building music in the student centers.

Setup, adjust and operate audio visual equipment such as cameras, sound mixers and recorders during events.

Maintain presence as needed and troubleshoot audio visual equipment during events.

Document setup changes and last-minute AV equipment requests.

Maintain the AV office and storage facilities organized and clean at all times.

Report faulty or damaged equipment according to department procedures.

Return items left in events to the Lost and Found and the Welcome Center.

Participate in the Student Management Program and events.

Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and / or experience.

Job Category Temporary

Advertised Salary $14.50 per hour.

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits.
