Senior Fund Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage complex accounting tasks including high-volume journal entries and reconciliations

• Own the monthly accounting process from recording investment activities to preparing financial statements

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards

• Oversee general ledger accounting including account and balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare regulatory reports and support audits to ensure compliance with securities laws

Requirements:

• 5+ years of general accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilities

• Apply experience in investment fund accounting or whole loan/mortgage accounts

• Handle large transaction environments, including journal entries with up to 1, lines

• Show advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large datasets effectively

• Communicate clearly and confidently with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Prefer experience in real estate or investment fund accounting environments

• Support financial and tax audits and prepare compliance documents such as s and franchise tax filings

• Bring experience with Business Central ERP and technical accounting for financial statements

• Preferably hold a CPA license and/or have prior experience with Big 4 accounting firms
