Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage complex accounting tasks including high-volume journal entries and reconciliations
Own the monthly accounting process from recording investment activities to preparing financial statements
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
Oversee general ledger accounting including account and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare regulatory reports and support audits to ensure compliance with securities laws
Requirements:
5+ years of general accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilities
Apply experience in investment fund accounting or whole loan/mortgage accounts
Handle large transaction environments, including journal entries with up to 1, lines
Show advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large datasets effectively
Communicate clearly and confidently with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prefer experience in real estate or investment fund accounting environments
Support financial and tax audits and prepare compliance documents such as s and franchise tax filings
Bring experience with Business Central ERP and technical accounting for financial statements
Preferably hold a CPA license and/or have prior experience with Big 4 accounting firms
