Seeking to hire Optometrist for growing private practice group in Pueblo, CO. Live in Pueblo or Pueblo West or commute from Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs is always rated one of the best places to live in the United States by US News and World Report. Easy 30 minute commute from the desirable Cheyenne Mountain and Broadmoor areas. Family optometry practice accepting most insurance plans. OD will have excellent support, while maintaining clinical freedom and autonomy. Position could also lead to profit sharing and promotion. Full-time or part-time applicants are welcome to apply. We prefer full-time candidates, but are willing to consider tailored schedules.

Job Expectations :

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any ocular abnormalities
  • Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
  • Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
  • Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologies

Requirements :

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited US optometry school
  • Valid state license to practice optometry (prefer if already licensed in CO)
