Facility Manager / Alternate Site Manager / Deputy Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to serve as our Deputy Site Manager and primary alternate for the Site Manager role for the Joint Base San Antonio Mission Training Center (JBSA-MTC). This critical leadership position combines facility management excellence with financial oversight and operational leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide direct supervision to Team ATS, manage comprehensive facility operations, and ensure strict compliance with all contractual requirements while maintaining optimal service levels with minimal disruption to facility occupants.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as JBSA-MTC Deputy Site Manager and first choice Alternate Site Manager when required
- Provide direct supervision to Team ATS in the absence of the Site Manager
- Lead continual improvement initiatives through strategic Facilities Planning
- Coordinate and direct optimal facility utilization to meet current and future operational requirements
- Provide direct oversight to the Site Security Manager and Logistics Manager
- Generate and / or review drafts for all Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) reports such as the Monthly Report
- Serve as Budget / Financial Manager for the entire Task Order including IMCOM RMF Team
- Ensure strict compliance with funds utilization and tracking requirements
- Provide transparent financial reporting and accountability
- Manage all financial Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) including Material and Travel CLINs for JBSA-MTC and IMCOM RMF Team
- Provide daily oversight of all assigned Government Furnished Facilities
- Track facility use and condition via SharePoint Portal using standardized checklists
- Manage work orders and identify facility problems proactively
- Supervise seasonal maintenance tasks and coordinate all facility certifications and inspections
- Report any deficiencies to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within 24 hours of discovery
- Oversee daily custodial cleaning teams across all managed facilities
- Oversee work orders for all facilities
- Develop and implement custodial plans for each facility
- Monitor custodial performance before, during, and after exercises / events
- Escort and supervise all service and maintenance personnel during required work
- Update JBSA-MTC Standard Operating Procedures quarterly (Property Management, Facility Management, Key Control, Mail Handling)
- Ensure timely delivery of Monthly Status Reports, Trip Reports, and Asset Visibility Reports
- Maintain comprehensive facility inspection records and certifications
- Provide quality inputs for all required Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
- Assign, oversee, and ensure 100% accountability of all Government Furnished Equipment
- Work closely with Logistics Manager to maintain asset visibility and control
- Supervise equipment maintenance and service schedules
Required Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of facility management experience in complex, multi-building environmentsMinimum 3 years of supervisory / management experienceExperience with government contracting and compliance requirements preferredFinancial management experience with budget oversight responsibilitiesMilitary experience and leadership preferredFamiliarization with individual and collective training, to include the Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) planning preferredTechnical Skills :
Proficiency in SharePoint Portal systems and facility management softwareStrong understanding of facility maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and building systemsKnowledge of government property management regulations and proceduresExperience with work order management systemsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial tracking systemsCore Competencies :
