SUMMARY : Our maintenance team is looking for a Maintenance Technician II that is reliable and hard-working to be able to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production / facility equipment for the company. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Ensures all employees are treated consistently, fairly, ethically, and respectfullyResponsible for all aspects of production equipment and building maintenance under the direction of the Maintenance SupervisorEnsures all compliance aspects (Quality, GMP, HACCP and Safety regulations) are known and followed; all required paperwork must be completedEnsures all production equipment is in continuous operational condition; Responsible to efficiently and effectively changeover, troubleshoot and repair machinery, as well as assist other technicians in that effort when necessaryRecommends modifications to production and process equipment which will extend its usable life, function or to make it safer and more efficientSets up and calibrates processing equipment daily to meet specificationsCoordinates with Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficientlyHandles installation of system components, including but not limited to :Office Equipment
Lighting / heating / ventilation systemsMinor Plumbing maintenance (repair of leaks, unclogging of drains)Low and High Voltage Electrical systems (under limited supervision)Handles completion of Preventative Maintenance Program and inspections as scheduledCommunicates and escalates serious equipment issues to Supervisor and SupportReads and interprets machines and equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and servicesResponds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concernsAssists in training new maintenance employeesPerforms other work-related duties as assignedRepresents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers at all levels throughout the companyEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
2 – 4 years maintenance experience in a factory settingCurrent / valid Hawaii Drivers License and clean motor vehicle record requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredSelf-starter dedicated to continual quality improvementAbility to multi-taskAbility to work with minimal supervisorAdhere to safety practices / QA guidelinesAbility to plan and manage projects under the direction of Maintenance SupervisorOccasionally upgrade skill set to meeting changing job conditionsAble to perform welding works is a plusOTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Regularly stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift and use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, carry, and reachFrequent lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, grasping, bending, stooping, and squatting and some repetitive motionsAble to sit, stand and walk throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift. Able to stand for long periodsAble to routinely lift and maneuver at least 40 lbs., and occasionally lift and maneuver up to 60 lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision 20 inches or less, (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers. Distance vision of 20 feet or more (not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Peripheral vision observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given pointSpecific hearing abilities include the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and / or other sounds (e.g., forklifts, packaging, machinery alarms), medical codes or alarms and communication purposesWear protective gear (uniform), including gloves, face / eye shields, aprons, hearing protection, hairnets, beard nets, etc.Inside and outside areas of a typical industrial facility, which includes working with and around large machinery, outside grounds, variations in temperature, sounds (decibles), odors, humidity, dust and elevations. Some areas are often hot with steam from oven and vaporAble to work flexible hours and overtime as required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hoursTravel required
