Clinical Nurse II - CCU - 36hrs / week, DAYS

Join our dynamic team in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), a specialized 17-bed cardiac critical care unit equipped with advanced invasive monitoring capabilities. We cater to adult patients, 18 years and older, facing life-threatening cardiac issues.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in providing high-quality care, including continuous EKG monitoring and emergency response as per the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA-ACLS) guidelines. You will also care for patients with sophisticated devices such as Impella ventricular assist devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, and more.

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and carry out special tests while documenting treatment according to policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and their responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care.
• Provide essential and emergency care for a variety of conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary nursing team to develop individualized care plans.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.
