Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Hybrid Cath Lab / IR Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and current ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a short-term acute care setting performing dual roles in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Flexible scheduling with day shifts (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM) and occasional shifts (7 : 30 AM – 8 : 00 PM)
  • On-call required with 10 call shifts per month in Cath Lab and Hybrid OR; call-back window is 3 hours
  • Weekend shifts required every third weekend
  • Care for adult cardiac and IR patients
  • Cerner EMR is used and experience is required
  • Floating required within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals
  • Free parking is available
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; only required to work Christmas OR New Year's, with Thanksgiving guaranteed off
  • All travelers expected to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals
  • Block scheduling may be discussed upon offer
  • Local and non-local candidates are accepted for this allied health position
  • Returning employees must have a 12 month break in service before reapplying
  • RTO of up to 5 days (excluding holidays) can be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval
  • Scrub requirements and further orientation details provided upon assignment

  • Minimum of 18 months experience as a Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Current ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
  • Must possess Hybrid Cath Lab / IR skills; both modalities are required
  • Applicants must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Experience with Cerner charting required
  • Pending state license accepted for consideration; License required if applicable
  • Must provide two supervisor references for consideration
