Responsibilities Position is based on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting Patient ratios are estimated to be 1 : 3 Care includes telemetry monitoring and IV starts Work schedule is 3x12-hour shifts, both days and nights, with rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays On-call duties are required Floating within units of equal or lower acuity is required Epic EMR experience is required Must be willing to float to units with similar or lower acuity Participation in fingerprinting process is mandatory for assignment eligibility Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers RTO (requested time off) must be submitted up front and included in contract Former employees are eligible if they have not worked in the facility for at least 6 months Current employees are ineligible to be hired as travelers at this location Rotating holiday coverage is required Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring required Epic EMR experience required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program At least 2 professional references required, one from a manager, director, or supervisor Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627453.
