Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic orthopaedic team. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients develop, recover, and maintain the daily living and work skills needed for independent functioning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities and create personalized treatment plans.
- Use therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients’ fine motor skills, coordination, and functional independence.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PTs, SLPs, nurses, physicians, etc.) to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment effectiveness in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Licensure : Current Alabama license as an Occupational Therapist.Experience : New graduates welcome!Skills : Excellent communication, time management, patient care, and problem-solving skills.Benefits :
