Robert Half is actively assisting a client in hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in the San Diego area. This contract-to-permanent position provides an excellent opportunity for professionals who are detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing and reconciling receivable accounts effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor and manage the accounts receivable (AR) function, including payment processing, invoicing, and maintaining customer accounts.
• Ensure timely collections of payments, following up on outstanding invoices and communicating with clients to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Generate and review aging reports regularly to analyze account performance and take action on overdue accounts.
• Process credit memos and adjustments as needed to resolve billing issues.
• Reconcile AR accounts to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and sales, to streamline AR processes.
• Prepare monthly AR reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all AR processes.
