ICU RN Job Details Location : Spokane, WA 99204 (Washington nursing jobs) Facility : Level 3 Trauma Center, Mixed ICU (Medical, Surgical, Neuro, CVICU) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 1 / 31 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910 Patient Ratios : 1 : 2-3 (based on acuity) Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Any professional color Floating : May float to Respiratory Unit, Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, or Emergency Department as needed ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience (critical care nursing) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, medication titration, proning, hypothermia protocol, chest tubes, drains, and invasive line monitoring (a-lines, CVP) Experience with EPIC charting, BD Alaris IV Pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems Strong medical ICU background preferred Travel nursing experience strongly preferred ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in a mixed ICU (medical, surgical, neuro, CVICU) Manage complex cases including DKA, sepsis, ARDS, post-op surgical, and neurological conditions Interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate critical care medications, and perform advanced ICU procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Float to other hospital units as needed to support clinical operations Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records Adhere to hospital protocols and demonstrate professionalism at all times Spokane, WA, is a top destination for travel nurses, offering urban amenities, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming healthcare community.
