About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our executive leadership team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and system-wide Chief Nursing Executive, this leader will shape the strategic direction of nursing operations, enhance clinical outcomes, and foster an environment of excellence across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a visionary nursing leader with recent, proven Chief Nursing Officer experience in a large acute care hospital , capable of leading transformational initiatives toward Magnet designation and top-tier patient satisfaction outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all day-to-day nursing operations to ensure quality care, staff engagement, and financial stewardship.
• Develop and implement strategic nursing management and patient care improvement plans.
• Lead hospital-wide performance improvement, quality, and nursing education programs.
• Partner with executive and medical leadership to implement evidence-based practices.
• Direct the recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.
• Build collaborative partnerships with unions, councils, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Manage staffing ratios, budgets, and performance metrics across departments.
