Salary : $295,000 – $350,000 (Based on Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our executive leadership team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and system-wide Chief Nursing Executive, this leader will shape the strategic direction of nursing operations, enhance clinical outcomes, and foster an environment of excellence across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a visionary nursing leader with recent, proven Chief Nursing Officer experience in a large acute care hospital , capable of leading transformational initiatives toward Magnet designation and top-tier patient satisfaction outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all day-to-day nursing operations to ensure quality care, staff engagement, and financial stewardship.
- Develop and implement strategic nursing management and patient care improvement plans.
- Lead hospital-wide performance improvement, quality, and nursing education programs.
- Partner with executive and medical leadership to implement evidence-based practices.
- Direct the recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.
- Build collaborative partnerships with unions, councils, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Manage staffing ratios, budgets, and performance metrics across departments.
