Project Architect

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively contribute to planning, design and documentation of projects across multiple scales and types
• Be a leader and Mentor staff.
• Assist Partners in management of schedules, budgets & clients.
• Serve as the primary client liaison responsible to complete projects to satisfy the client's goals.
• Collaborate on ideas for architectural amenities to help our clients stand out.
• Manage work plans, schedules, programs, communication, and project team assignments.
• Estimates fees, determine scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.
• Assist staff in development of industry knowledge and architectural skills.
• Issue and record Change of Service Agreements in a timely manner.
• Research, establish and adhere to city/county agency requirements.
• Oversee and assure contract document submittals for agency review.
• Direct the preparation and issuance of bid documents.
• Oversee construction contract administration and attend construction meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Architecture degree, license preferred
• Advanced skills in Revit, Adobe and Rendering
• Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices.
• Experience leading complex projects and multi project accounts.
• Strong business development and client development acumen.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal management skills.
• Experience negotiating project scope and fees.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
