Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in De Soto, MO, is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support during a short-term leave. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to deliver effective speech and language services across a diverse student population from Pre-K through high school.
Position Details :
- Duration : ASAP to December 19th
- Hours : 32.5 hours per week
- Caseload Size : Approximately 52 students
- Student Age Range : Pre-K, middle school, and high school
Key Responsibilities :
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disabilitiesDevelop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progressMaintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and therapy sessionsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language PathologyValid state licensure or eligibility to work in Missouri schoolsPrior experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferredAbility to manage a caseload with diverse age groups, from Pre-K to high schoolStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students and staffBenefits :
