As a Policy Program Specialist on our Medicaid Policy Team, you'll play a critical role in interpreting, developing, and communicating policies, to help drive real-world improvements in Nebraska's Medicaid / Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). What We're Looking For :
The successful candidate will have experience in policy development or administration for Medicaid, CHIP, or other public health programs. A strong background in researching and analyzing federal and state regulations, policies, and law is essential.

Work Schedule : Monday Friday; 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Requirements / Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree, or equivalent coursework / training, in public administration, social / behavioral sciences, healthcare, human services or other program-related field. Professional experience working in a human / social service or health care agency with responsibility for planning or evaluating programs or operational policies and practices may substitute in lieu of the educational requirement.

Knowledge of : Federal and state Medicaid regulations and policy, Human services and healthcare delivery systems, Policy development principles and program evaluation techniques
Skills in : Drafting and editing policy documentation and reports, Explaining complex concepts to varied audiences, Researching and interpreting policies, laws, and regulations.
Ability to : Work collaboratively in a team setting, Think critically and exercise sound independent judgment, Build and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, agencies, and stakeholders, Communicate effectively via email, documents, and in-person meetings
