Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients, students, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the education location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document and report any unusual incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols or while on post. Work collaboratively with campus personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support a positive campus atmosphere. Remain alert to any potential hazards or emergencies and follow established protocols for response and communication. At least 2 years of security-related experience are required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Guard - Campus Patrol Driver
As a Security Guard - Campus Patrol Driver in Newberry, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and regular patrols. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.
