Ongoing assignment

Number of Providers Requested : 3

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 90-120 days (Temporary privileges available)

Shift Description

Scheduled clinical hours plus call

On-call including weekends and holidays

Day shifts : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM

Three 24-hour shifts : 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 AM

Call Details

Call Type : Beeper

Call Response Time Required : 30 minutes

Requirements

Board Eligible

Active Alabama license only

ACLS, BNDD required

Fellowship preferred

Must supervise

General Anesthesia : Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma

Spinal Anesthesia

Regional Anesthesia Surgery

Obstetrical Cases

Neurosurgical Cases : Head + Spine

Thoracic Cases (except open heart)

Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart)

Complex Orthopedic Cases

Ventilation Management

Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume / BP Issues

Arterial Line Placement

Expected Surgical Cases

Assignment Details

OB anesthesia experience (e.g., epidurals, C-sections) is preferred

Trauma Level : 3

Pediatrics Level : 3

EMR System : Paper Charting

Hospital Stroke Certified : Yes
