ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED ER

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Rotating weekend schedule required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Willing to consider candidates interested in mid-shift options
  • Emergency department trauma experience required
  • Patient ratios : 1 : 4 ED, 1 : 5 behavioral health, 1 : 3 cardiac / trauma
  • Work with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track, and 5 behavioral health beds
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
  • Preferred qualifications : Meditech experience, trauma experience, holding inpatient experience, CPI certification
  • Equipment used : Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
  • EMR system : MEDITECH
  • Typical procedures : splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, rapid infuser, resuscitation
  • Dress code : Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
  • Ideal candidate characteristics : multitasker, team player, self-starter

The facility maintains a full complement of 111 emergency services staff members working around the clock to provide exceptional patient care. The emergency department is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and maintains strong recognition through active committees and social programs that support staff engagement and professional development.
