Emergency Medicine Physician

Location : A small town located in the eastern Oregon. It s known for its rich history, scenic surroundings, and outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, fishing, and skiing in the nearby Wallowa Mountains. The town has a charming downtown area with historic buildings, local shops, and restaurants. It's also close to attractions like the Oregon Trail and the Baker City Historic District.

Facility : A community hospital that provides a range of healthcare services, including emergency care, outpatient services, and specialty care.

Opportunity :

• Looking for an Emergency Medicine provider to start ASAP for a minimum of 6 shifts per month.
• Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts.
• Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift.
• Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%).
• Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24 / 7.
• Effective telestroke program well established.
• Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers / physician consultation.
• EMR : EPIC
• Credentialing timeframe : 2-3 months

Compensation : Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay plus malpractice
