Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Join an Established OB / GYN Practice in Bad Axe, Michigan! Step into a rewarding career with an immediate opening for an OB / GYN at a well-respected facility in Bad Axe, Michigan. This practice offers a supportive environment with a full patient panel inherited from a retiring provider. You will be part of a collegial team, including another OB / GYN and a Nurse Practitioner, all while ensuring you're working in the only birthing center in the region. Job Responsibilities : Manage an existing patient base and provide exceptional care. Work in a collaborative three-provider group performing approximately 460 gynecological procedures each year. Cater to 30-40 patients per day, both inpatient and outpatient. Enjoy a dedicated surgery day and work-life balance. Assist with on-site procedures, including ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy. Utilize paper charting in the clinic with an EMR system used in the hospital. Participate in hospital call, specifically on weekends, with an average of 7 days on call per month. Qualifications : Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB / GYN (required). Current Michigan Medical License (or in process; required). BLS certification or willingness to obtain (required). DEA certification (must be obtained prior to starting, required). CSR / CDS certification (must be obtained prior to starting, required). License and Certification Requirements : Current Michigan Medical License. Board certification in OB / GYN. BLS certification. DEA certificate (required before starting).
