Job descriptionBoard Certified in OB-GYN or Truly Board Eligible within 5 years of residency. Active California medical license at the time of application. OB Hospitalist work experience preferred. Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred. Willingness to relocate if not currently living in the area. DEA required (must be obtained prior to start). Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB-GYN. Active California medical license. DEA registration (required before starting).
Join Our Team as a Full-Time OB-GYN Hospitalist in Salinas, CA!
Pediatrix Medical Group is urgently seeking a full-time Board-Certified / Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage at a nationally recognized maternity care hospital nestled in the beautiful and vibrant Central Coast city of Salinas, California . This position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care in a community-oriented environment. Job Responsibilities :
- Provide 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage.
- Manage labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the community.
- Handle obstetrical triage and emergency situations.
- Perform patient evaluations and management.
- Assist in obstetrical surgeries.
- Participate in fetal monitoring and coordinate with MFM specialists.
- Support a Level III NICU operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and MFM support.
- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patients.
- Please note this is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area, and relocation may be required.
