Base pay range

$80,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr

A reputable investment firm is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to support the accounting and reporting functions for our credit-focused investment funds. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of fund accounting experience , with direct exposure to credit funds, private credit, or debt-focused investment vehicles . This role offers the opportunity to work closely with investment, operations, and finance teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting for credit investment funds, including journal entries, reconciliations, and expense processing.
  • Prepare and review NAV packages, investor reporting, capital activity, and performance metrics.
  • Support the valuation process for credit instruments, including loans, structured credit products, and other debt investments.
  • Coordinate with administrators, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with year-end financial statements, audit support, and regulatory filings as required.
  • Maintain strong understanding of fund structures, credit investment strategies, and related accounting policies.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of accounting workflows and controls.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fund accounting, public accounting with financial services clients, or investment operations—credit fund experience required.
  • Strong understanding of credit products and how they are accounted for within fund structures.
  • Proficiency with Excel; experience with fund accounting or portfolio management systems a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
