Texas Licensed Tax Accountant

A company is looking for a Professional Tax Accountant (Remote in USA).

Key Responsibilities

Assist with maintaining compliance for Property Tax, Sales / Use GST / VAT, and Unclaimed Property

Manage the Tax inbox and Ariba tax exceptions, and assist with property tax renditions and payments

Support internal and external audits related to indirect taxes and improve team effectiveness

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

Three or more years of experience in accounting or finance focusing on indirect taxes

Experience with tax research, tax laws, and processing tax forms

Familiarity with accounting principles and accounting software

Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft and / or SAP
