• This is a temporary assignment expected to last around 13 weeks with the potential for it to extend longer! Prepares patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure, and positioning patient's body parts appropriately. Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat a patient's illness / injury with minimal supervision while providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust MRI scan parameters and dose reduction techniques as needed. Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use. Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements, and ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines. Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades, and monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary. All other duties as assigned. What we require of you : ARRT certification , current and in good standing. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. At least 2 years of experience and comfort utilizing MRI equipment / techniques, experience with Hitachi Oasis 1.2T MR is preferred.
