The Role :

As Shop Foreman, daily service department operations will be overseen. This includes leading and mentoring technicians to ensure high-quality repairs. Technical expertise and leadership will be used to maintain a safe, productive environment, ensure efficient workflow, and uphold customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include supervising, training, and developing technicians, prioritizing work orders, and providing technical support. The role also involves inspecting repairs for quality, maintaining service records, coordinating projects, collaborating with other departments, enforcing safety regulations, and staying updated on industry trends.

Qualifications :

Candidates should have proven automotive technician experience and a strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair procedures. Supervisory experience in a shop environment is required. Strong leadership, technical knowledge, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are needed. Knowledge of safety regulations is important. Proficiency with CMMS is a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical training preferred. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are also necessary.
