Job description

Overview

Graphic Designer / Experiential Graphic Designer 2 with 6+ years of experience in graphic design to join our interdisciplinary design team. This role shapes the visual and emotional experience of architectural spaces across a wide range of project types including K-12 and higher education, commercial, religious, medical, and municipal environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement experiential graphics, including wayfinding systems, signage, branded environments, and storytelling elements that integrate seamlessly with architectural finishes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align graphic design with architectural vision, project timelines, and client goals
  • Develop and present compelling design concepts to clients and stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind your creative decisions
  • Prepare files for print and digital distribution, including pre-flighting, color correction, and image optimization
  • Conduct quality control reviews of all deliverables and coordinate with fabricators on shop drawings and installation
  • Stay current with industry trends, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in Graphic Design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Revit, CAD tools for Illustrator, or other 3D modeling software is a plus
  • Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and how they translate into the built environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free work on time and within budget
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with prepress and production processes, including color management and file preparation for both print and digital media
  • Knowledge of sustainable design best practices and involvement in professional organizations is preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design is a plus
