Social Worker

We are a growing, private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and children (ages 5-17) who are suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our new, state-of-the art medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead.

Join the team of highly dedicated mental health professionals. We are presently looking for a Therapist who will be responsible for :

• Providing assessment, interventions, treatment planning and discharge planning, as well as providing individual, family and group therapy to further patient / family / group progress in treatment.

Facilitating substance abuse groups with the adolescent / adult populations. This position will allow the opportunity for employee to complete chemical dependency assessments, offer community resources, and family education to support our patients during their recovery.

Employing a variety of cognitive, behavioral and insight oriented modalities of treatment.

Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting each unit’s treatment program, assuring the deliverance of quality and consistently excellent treatment to patients and their families.

Qualifications : Education :

A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited college or university

Licensure :

May be a NV licensed intern working towards licensure or fully licensed in CSW, LCSW, LPC, APC, MFT, etc.;

Experience :

Minimum One (1) year experience working as a therapist in Mental Health, preferably in an acute hospital setting or residential setting.
