Position Summary : We are looking for outgoing, friendly, energetic, and family oriented people to join our retail sales team at our High Adventure by Alpin Haus location in Latham, NY! If you have an active lifestyle, love the outdoors and like to work with people, this job is for you! The Retail Sales Associate will maximize selling opportunities by having friendly interactions with customers, providing product information and purchase recommendations, and ultimately closing sales.

Salary : $18-$25 / hour

Schedule : 20-30 hours per week. Must be flexible

Job Duties :

• Generate sales that meet or exceed monthly targets
• Anticipate customer needs and suggestively sell products and services to enhance the customer's outdoor experience
• Arrange merchandise within the store and window displays in an appealing and creative way to encourage increased sales
• Provide buyer / customer assistance in all areas of the retail store as needed, to ensure a friendly, positive, and professional shopping experience
• Assist in the unloading of trucks and stocking of merchandise
• Maintain showroom and stock areas by organizing shelves, folding and hanging merchandise according to size and style, and performing light housekeeping duties throughout the workday
• Identify merchandise trends and make recommendations to management for new product offering
