Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and experienced Salon / Barbershop Manager to lead and support our talented team of stylists, barbers, and front desk staff at our NEW location in South Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a background in the beauty or grooming industry, passionate about customer service, team development, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the barber shop, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and lead team , including scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations
  • Uphold Floyd's 99 Barbershop standards
  • Recruit, hire, and train new team members
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
  • Handle client concerns and feedback professionally
  • Track sales, manage budgets, and implement strategies to increase revenue
  • Plan and promote marketing campaigns, special offers , and events
  • Maintain a positive and motivating work environment
  • Work closely with the owner & operations manager on business goals and improvements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of salon / barbershop management or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building rapport with clients and team members
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and time-management abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of salon / barbershop software systems is a plus (e.g., Vagaro , Booker, Square)
  • Licensed cosmetologist or barber (preferred but not required, depending on duties)
  • Sales and marketing experience is a bonus
  • Passionate about the beauty / grooming industry and staying current with trends
