Food Equipment Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY :   The Food Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the support of retail operations through maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment utilized in food processing, preparation, and merchandising.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Responsible for maintenance of the food equipment systems and become a proactive partner of the retail stores in assigned locations.
• Conduct periodic service checks and perform preventive maintenance on food equipment systems to prevent critical failures.
• Diagnose and maintain all mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control aspects of the food equipment systems.
• Install new and remove old equipment as needed for remodel and upgrades.
• Conceive and help develop procedures and strategies that can be adopted companywide for improved performance, reduced downtime, and cost reduction.
• Maintain all records necessary for government and company purposes.
• Responsible for attending on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service to store locations in support of the company’s mission to “Run the Best Store in Town!”
