A company is looking for a Medical Claims Processor I.
Key Responsibilities
Enter claims data into the system while interpreting coding and understanding medical terminology
Review, analyze, and resolve moderately complex claims using available resources
Adjudicate claims to meet quality and production standards, ensuring compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or equivalent
6-12 months of data entry or medical office experience preferred
10-key proficiency of 135 spm
Typing speed of a minimum of 35 wpm
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-9 / 10 codes preferred
