The role!

Position : Residential Registered Nurse RN

Location : Wakefield, MA

Pay rate : $91,520 annual salary

Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week                                                                                                                    Schedule : This position will typically operate on a Monday Friday schedule; may be required to work evenings and weekends in emergency healthcare needs; must have flexibility as schedule may vary to meet needs of agency and the Individuals we support

Summary & Responsibilities

The Health Care Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of the overall healthcare and well-being of individuals who reside in our Residential Program group homes and independent apartment settings. We are looking for someone with a strong background and experience in working with adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Responsibilities include staff training on specific treatment protocols and providing consultation regarding the medical needs of the individuals. Effective communication skills and sound judgement skills are a must along with the ability to be a team player with a strong work ethic. Certified MAP Trainer strongly preferred but training is also available

Qualifications

  • Must have a current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years experience in a community health setting; preferably with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
  • Must respect the dignity of individuals with disabilities and believe in their self-determination and growth.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check including references, CORI, and fingerprinting.
  • A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must
  • Valid Drivers license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
