OLC Architecture, Interiors, and Aquatics is seeking a licensed architect with strong Construction Administration experience to join our Palm Beach Gardens office. This position focuses on construction document production and leading the construction phase of complex recreation, aquatic, hospitality, and civic projects, ensuring design integrity, quality execution, and seamless collaboration between clients, contractors, and design teams.

- Why This Role
OLC’s Orlando and Palm Beach Gardens studios are managing several major projects entering construction in south Florida, and we’re seeking a hands-on professional in this region who can be part of a production team, represent the firm confidently during bidding, permitting, and construction, ensure quality control and maintain project momentum from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting.
- Who You Are
- A licensed architect with 10–20 years of experience, including extensive Construction Administration (CA) work
- Highly knowledgeable in building systems, building codes, detailing, and construction sequencing
- Proficient in Revit and able to produce high-quality, permit and construction-ready Construction Documents
- Skilled at Construction Administration, managing RFIs, submittals, attending OAC meetings, writing field reports, producing punch lists, checking pay applications and reviewing change orders
- Adept at facilitating clear communication among owners, consultants, and contractors
- Calm under pressure, organized, and able to balance multiple active projects and job sites simultaneously
- Comfortable performing QA / QC reviews and mentoring junior staff on technical execution
- Committed to ensuring that design integrity is documented and maintained during construction, upholding client satisfaction, and delivering project excellence
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensed Architect in the U.S. (Florida registration preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
- 10–20 years of professional experience with a strong background in construction-phase project management
- Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and field observation tools
- Solid understanding of codes, permitting, ADA, and contract documentation (AIA forms)
- Excellent verbal and written communication; proactive and client-facing
- Experience with municipalities, universities, and recreation / wellness projects is highly desirable
