What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Control access points by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials as required, issuing visitor passes, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of appropriate personnel, and documentation of actions taken.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.

Complete timely, accurate reports and logs, monitor cameras and alarms when assigned, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security experience.

Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
