Celerity Integrated Services, located in Quakertown, PA is currently looking for a FT Fleet Mechanic. This is an essential role to allow Celerity the versatility to balance in house repairs and maintenance with outside vendors when prudent. Supporting the operational needs of the organization as efficiently as possible, to keep our fleet in a positive production mode. This position is responsible for performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed. The fleet is a combination of medium duty trucks, construction equipment and passenger vehicles. Celerity provides free health insurance for all full-time employees.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles and construction equipment as required to ensure safe and proper operation and DOT compliance.
- Due to our ERS contracts, it is imperative that we remain cognizant of the readiness of our fleet and response times to maintain "in service" status.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance such as but not limited to, oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements, and assorted maintenance services.
- Maintain a safe and orderly operating environment.
- Respond to DVIR identified deficiencies in concert with Fleet Supervisor.
- Keep supervisor and team informed of daily functions assigned and completed.
- Documentation of the work performed assuring accuracy of records.
- Recondition and replace assorted parts of construction equipment.
- Operate and test equipment such as aerial lifts, derricks, mini-excavators, hydraulic operated equipment and generators.
- Perform ANSI inspections on aerial lift devices
- Make recommendations on repairs and maintenance that will require support from outside vendors.
- Diagnose and make recommendations for problem areas involving significant wear and tear on the equipment.
- Maintain safe and clean garage bay; keep shelves and workstations neat.
- Works cooperatively with other departments internally as necessary to maintain smooth and efficient workplace operations.
- Occasionally Respond to and provide emergency offsite field repairs as needed including potentially after hours.
Education and Experience
5+ years of mechanic's experience requiredExperience in the following disciplines is preferred; Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.Experienced in operation, repair, and maintenance of construction equipment is desirable.Experience with Mobile Generators is a plus.Welding is a plus.Experience with portable mobile lifts is preferred.State inspection experience is a plusValid driver's license with clean driving record required.CDL Medical eligibility required.CDL Class A preferred.Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.High school diploma or GED preferredCompetency

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM. This position may require longer hours, emergency response and some weekend work. Hours may be flexible based on business needs. This position may require 8-to-10-hour days and flexible hours.
