Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Type : 13-Week Contract (Temp or Temp-to-Hire)

Schedule : Approximately 2428 hours per week; variable schedule (SunWed every other week, MonWed the alternate week)

Location : Susanville, CA

Start Date : ASAP

Were seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a contract or temp-to-hire role in Susanville, CA . This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist open to travel and flexible scheduling. Non-taxable travel stipends and lodging support are available for those traveling to the area.

Responsibilities :

Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently

pound sterile IV products independently

Perform clinical duties including pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, and antimicrobial monitoring

Oversee and check the work of pharmacy technicians

Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems (Pyxis)

Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure safe, effective medication use

Participate in quality and performance improvement projects

Take on-call coverage during scheduled workdays

Requirements :

Active California Pharmacist License required

1+ year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required

Hands-on IV pounding and sterile preparation experience required

Strong clinical background (pharmacokinetics, antimicrobial, anticoagulation) required

Familiarity with Cerner , Pyxis , Alaris Pumps , and Pharmacy Keeper preferred

Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities required

Additional Details :

Small hospital setting (25 beds, average census ~10)

On-call required during scheduled workdays (evenings and overnights)

Travel / lodging fully covered for non-local pharmacists
