Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,290 per week at Tri-State summary :

As a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room, I promote and restore patients' health through comprehensive nursing care and collaboration with healthcare teams. My responsibilities include providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and performing duties as a circulating and scrub nurse during surgical procedures. I hold a current Washington State RN license and possess experience in both Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing.

Job Details

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.

Nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, Nursing Department and regulatory standards.

Responsible for care of patients in the operating room.

Provides for patient care as a circulating and / or scrub nurse and teacher to ensure safe and therapeutically effective nursing care.

Maintains the work area.

Participates in 24-hour call coverage.

Uses skills in nursing assessment to include recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Job Requirements

Current Washington State RN license

Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred.
