Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer Associate to join their team in Arlington, TX. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or technical (STEM) discipline from an accredited college or university, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and the ability to travel are also required.
The Quality Engineer Associate will be responsible for :
- Reviewing documentation related to manufacturing processes : Ensuring quality products are delivered to customers.
- Supporting Supplier IPTs and production sites : Reviewing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.
- Analyzing and resolving process issues : Addressing issues from basic to complex.
- Leading program corrective action meetings : Identifying trends, aiding in problem resolution, and ensuring commitments are met.
- Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards : Dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying containment requirements, and determining root causes and corrective actions.
- Performing assessments and audits : Ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001 / AS9100 standards.
- Evaluating design assurance activities and process methodologies : To prevent impacts on production velocity and quality.
- Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel : Addressing quality issues.
- Utilizing lean initiatives : Focusing on waste reduction and continuous improvement.
- Making final product acceptability decisions.
