Senior Accountant (VA Licensed)

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and submit accurate invoices in Deltek Costpoint per contract and FAR / CAS requirements

Coordinate with Project Managers to validate billing data and resolve issues

Monitor receivables and collections, keeping aging within 30 days

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience, including at least 3 years in government contracting

Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint (GCS Premier experience a plus)

Strong understanding of FAR, CAS, and GAAP
