Carthage Hardware, a family-owned and operated full-service hardware store and general contractor, is seeking an experienced General Handyman to join our growing team. Located at our newest location at 1103 E Java Rd, we're expanding our contractor services and need a skilled professional who can handle diverse projects with expertise and pride.

About the Position

We're looking for a versatile handyman with hands-on experience across multiple trades. A focus on finish carpentry and painting would be helpful. You'll work on a variety of projects ranging from small repairs to larger remodeling jobs, serving residential and commercial clients within a 25-mile radius of Carthage.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions independently
• Experience with remodeling, building maintenance, and repair work
• Knowledge of building codes and permit requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
• Own basic hand and power tools.
