Own the fault, find the fix, prove the performance
In Brookfield, WI, you will be the go-to expert turning failing boards into reliable products. Imagine this : a unit fails during a fixture test. You study the schematic, scope the suspect node, trace the signal path, swap the failed component, retest to spec—and later coach a customer over the phone, or even head out for an occasional on-site service call. All while keeping safety, especially around high voltage, front and center.
Your responsibilities
- Inspect subassemblies; conduct unit and fixture testing; repair printed circuit boards.
- Diagnose issues to the component level using schematics and test equipment.
- Determine causes of malfunctions / defects and apply corrective actions.
- Work safely with high voltages and currents in full compliance with procedures.
- Provide phone-based troubleshooting support; occasional off-site service calls as needed.
- Maintain safety, housekeeping, and clean-up practices.
Your background
Associate’s degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.1–3 years in electronics, electrical, or electro-mechanical functions.Fluent in reading schematics, drawings, and bills of material.Skilled with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and common hand tools.Computer literate with strong math and reasoning skills.Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently (occasionally more).Preferred qualifications
Prior PCB repair and test experience.Experience in manufacturing or an electronics repair environment.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Where you excel
