Loan Officer

Ag Lender

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business related to ag / commercial loans and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues. You will work closely with mortgage officers and other team members to assess credit requests, structure credit terms, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include :

• Interviewing prospective ag / commercial loan customers to assess credit requests.
• Collaborating with mortgage officers to generate referrals for ag / commercial and private banking prospects.
• Analyzing financial data to evaluate creditworthiness and loan proposals.
• Structuring credit terms including repayment methods, costs, and collateral requirements.
• Preparing loan committee presentations and supporting documentation.
• Presenting loans exceeding individual authority to the appropriate loan committee for approval.
• Guiding support staff in preparing loan documentation.
• Monitoring booked credit facilities, reviewing financial updates, and assisting in collections and exception resolution.
• Managing problem credits and implementing agreed-upon workout strategies.
• Engaging in ongoing business development and maintaining contact with existing clients.

Job type and location :

This is a permanent position based out of Moorhead, Minnesota.

Pay and benefits :

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 / yr. Medical, dental, and vision coverage, employee stock ownership program, 401(k) contribution and profit-sharing plan. Eligibility requirements apply.

This is a fully onsite position in Moorhead, MN.
