We have a Senior DeltaV Engineer opportunity in our Raleigh, NC office.

This person will lead the design, implementation, and project management of large-scale capital automation projects within the Life Sciences industry. This role requires proficiency with Emerson DeltaV systems and a strong technical background in designing and delivering cGMP-compliant automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complete project life cycles, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and commissioning of DeltaV control systems for major Life Sciences capital projects.
• Manage full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to validation ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Architect system infrastructure, HMI graphics, and batch control strategies to meet ISA-101 and ISA-88 standards.
• Integrate 3rd-party equipment via Ethernet / IP, Modbus TCP / IP, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and OPC UA.
• Oversee electrical designs (MCCs, VFDs, power distribution, panel layouts) and industrial networking infrastructure.
• Ensure all deliverables meet GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements.
• Conduct and lead FAT / SAT testing and acceptance protocols.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
