Service Sales Representative
Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Service Sales Rep to promote innovative solutions with current and potential customers. Essential responsibilities include estimating, negotiating, and selling service and maintenance contracts to obtain new units on maintenance agreements, managing existing accounts, promoting and selling Otis products and service upgrades, building and maintaining customer relationships, and developing and rapidly growing the sales territory through cold calling and familiarity with local market conditions and competitor dynamics. The candidate must maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of elevators / escalators, and Otis products and service upgrades, and provide estimates for all regular work and repair, understanding service contracts in broad terms. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the collection of accounts.
Education / certifications : Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
Basic qualifications include 3+ years of sales experience, the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities, comfort in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based computer software, outstanding sales / negotiation skills, and strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include elevator industry experience.
