Management Consulting - Tech Advisory Solutions Principal at RSM US LLP. Growth-minded, tech-savvy leader responsible for providing innovative digital strategy and senior advisory management consulting services to improve clients’ digital technology environments.
Responsibilities
- Discover and deliver digital management consulting opportunities for clients looking to optimize their performance.
- Work with new prospects and existing clients to identify the optimal digital strategy with a supporting roadmap to enable growth.
- Grow the Tech Advisory practice through business development, relationship development, and industry- and market-aligned growth activities.
- Mentor and grow an existing team of Tech Advisory professionals to accelerate ongoing growth.
- Be well-versed in modern technology paradigms such as Digital Strategy and Transformation, AI, Analytics, IT Target Operating Models, Automation, ERP, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, ITSM, etc.
- Lead client delivery activities and discovery sessions to gather requirements and understand business needs (e.g., budgeting and financial reporting).
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users; define business requirements for technology engagements.
- Interact with managers and mid-level executives; manage project phases including process improvement, ERP implementations, system selections, and IT strategy assessments.
- Document improvement opportunities and facilitate user workshops to capture business needs and requirements.
- Stay up to date on process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional teams; evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop solutions.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs; manage multiple projects and teams to deliver exceptional client experience.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff; gather information from stakeholder meetings and produce useful reports.
- Develop thought leadership through presentations or writing; build internal and external networks to identify sales opportunities.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients while managing expectations; oversee a diverse book of business with responsibility for profitability and engagement risk.
- Lead multiple high-profile client relationships and contribute to proposals and internal initiatives; recruit and retain future firm leaders.

Qualifications
12–15+ years of experience delivering digital strategies, IT transformations, IT integration, outsourcing, and / or management consulting.Experience selling and delivering IT consulting services / solutions including digital strategy, people and process, technology and infrastructure.Experience with ERP, CRM, financial reporting, portal, accounting systems; industry experience in Industrials, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial Services and / or Public Sector.Strong oral and written communication skills; high-impact client-facing communications.Critical thinking and creative problem-solving; ability to apply concepts and best practices to solve business problems.Solid understanding of IT application lifecycle, IT general controls; experience with project management, business process re-engineering, BI software, ERP implementations, or mergers / integrations.Experience building and maintaining client relationships and sales; basic understanding of data privacy regulations.Familiarity with methodologies, tools, and approaches to support the practice; proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, CS or related field and / or technology-focused MBA.Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% locally and nationally.Additional Information
