Float Pool RNs rotate across the following units : Emergency Department ICU Cardiac Telemetry Medical-Surgical - (Adults) Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds) Qualifications Education : Graduate of an accredited RN program Licensure : Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements) Experience : 1 year RN experience preferred Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire Depending on assignment, may also require : ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Physical Requirements : Able to push / pull / lift up to 50 lbs regularly Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts Why Mercy?
